U.S. Ambassador William Eacho Honored

On September 24, 2013, Austrian Federal President Heinz Fischer awarded former U.S. Ambassador to Austria, William C. Eacho the Grand Decoration of Honour in Gold with Sash for Services to the Republic of Austria. The celebration was held at the residence of Martin Sajdik, Permanent Representative of Austria to the United Nations in New York. William C. Eacho served as United States Ambassador to Austria from 2009 until 2013. He is succeeded by Ambassador Alexa Wesner.
