Austrian Delicacies at Summer Fancy Food Show in D.C.
The Fancy Food Shows, which are organized by the National Association for the Speciality Food Trade, have entertained guests for more than 50 years now. With 2,400 exhibitors from over 80 countries & regions, they have established themselves as North America’s premier showcase for specialty gourmet, ethnic, and organic snacks and beverages.
This year’s Summer Fancy Food Show was again held at the Walter E. Convention Center in the heart of Washington D.C. After highly successful group exhibitions in previous years, Austria was again present at the event, presenting culinary highlights from all regions of the country.
Over the years Austria has gained international reputation for being a first-class source of organic food, gourmet food items, exquisite wines, and non-alcoholic beverages. Many Austrian manufacturers have already established a presence in the U.S.; some others have only recently started to explore the potentials and opportunities of the U.S. market.
