With People to People International in Kansas City, MO

From May 14-16, 2014, Mr. Sigurd Pacher served as keynote speaker for People to People International’s (PTPI) Americas Regional Meeting in Kansas City, Missouri. Mr. Pacher met with Clark Plexico, CEO of PTPI, and several leaders of the organization in addition to participating in meetings with business and community leaders in Kansas City. On May 15, 2014, Mr. Pacher led a market briefing on doing business with Austria for Kansas City businesses in partnership with the World Trade Center Kansas City. Mr. Pacher was joined by Franz Rössler, Austrian Trade Commissioner in Chicago. In addition to visiting the National World War I Museum and the Harry S. Truman Presidential Library and Museum, Mr. Pacher met with members of the Council of Kansas City and was presented with a special resolution for his years of service as a member of the diplomatic community. Mr. Pacher also shared his views about Austria’s role in the EU and its relationship with the United States during a reception hosted by PTPI and the International Relations Council of Kansas City.
