On April 29, 2012, Austrian Ambassador Dr. Hans Peter Manz awarded Mr. Josef Neuhofer, president of Plasser American, the Decoration of Honor in Gold for Achievements for the Republic of Austria during a dinner in Virginia Beach, VA. Plasser American, a subsidiary of the Austrian company “Plasser & Theurer”, one of the market leaders in rail track maintenance with over 3000 employees in over 100 countries. Also honored this evening was Mr. Günther W. Oberlechner, vice president of Plasser American, who was awarded the Decoration of Honor in Silver for Achievements for the Republic of Austria.
